On March 29th,2015 the Guildford Heritage Festival will again take place at Stirling Square in Guildford. This festival has been running for many years now and is a highlight in Guildford’s annual calender.
There are many wonderful attractions for visitors to enjoy including horse-drawn wagon rides, military exhibitions, vintage car exhibits, many craft stalls of locally produced goods, gardening exhibits, and wonderful food stalls to mention just a few. It is a wonderful day out for the entire family and will leave everyone with a strong appreciation of life in earlier times. Guildford boasts a wonderful history and it is a pleasure to see local people celebrating this pioneering spirit and dressing in pioneering costumes to add to the atmosphere. The hourly gun salutes add another sense of a bygone era.
